In case you've been wondering where I've been, dear readers, it's flat on my back. I am having what seems to have become my annual bout of back trouble, so have been mostly offline. On a positive note, my medication issues seem much better, so once the back heals up I should be back at 100%.
Everyone have a great Fourth of July!
Here's a tune for the interim:
Feel better, poor Witchy. Blogdom isn't nearly the same without you.
ReplyDeleteI hate to think of you struggling with a bad back, Hedge. Please take it easy and get all the rest you need.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon.
ReplyDeleteDo rest, kiddo. Here's your chance to watch good movies! Thinking of you. We shall all be here when you return!!
ReplyDeletei would give you a hug but that might hurt...rest up...get to feeling better joy...
ReplyDeleteThanks, all, for the kind thoughts. Hope to be operational again soon.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. So sorry to hear. As long as you are operational and not operation-al, if you know what I mean. Backs are so complex and so painful when they go awry. Take care, Missing your work! k.
ReplyDeleteI'm sending healing vibes from Italy on this fourth, may they help.
ReplyDeleteNo fun flat on your back for July 4th .... if it had to happen, why not the dead of winter? Please be well soon ...
ReplyDeleteNo kidding--we just had the last mild week of the summer, and I got to spend it in bed. Yeesh! Thanks, Helen Mary, and Karin, for the healing vibes and kind thoughts.
ReplyDeletespeedy, happy, and a hoist to good meds, HW ~ M
ReplyDeleteYes, the meds are saving my life, even as they eat my brain. Hopefully they'll leave the part that deals with writing things intact---I'm sure it can't taste good. ;_)Thanks.
DeleteSorry to hear about your back, hope you are better soon
ReplyDeleteI love that song.
At least no ones going to stab you in the back for awhile Moonbat.
ReplyDeleteHave a Kick Ass Week-End...G
Thanks, G. Same to yourself. I will be back fridaying as soon as my various and sundry infirmities of old age allow. ;_)
DeleteTake it easy, lady, and feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteJust checking in to say that I hope you are feeling better and at least getting out into your garden-- the important thing. K.
ReplyDeleteThanks, k--I am mending, but no gardening as yet--I do admit to strolling by, tearing my hair and moaning at weeds, though. Our summer heat is here now, so there won't be much I can do outside for the duration anyway except water constantly. We're using soaker hoses this year to save water, and they are very tricky in my big beds--still, they seem to be working so far. I will try to get some pics up of some of the good stuff blooming soon.
DeleteI have been wondering - had hoped it was gardening that had spirited you away... I'm sure you would much prefer that. Had to come over and see what inspiration the shower gave you (ha ha... you just never know when the muse will hit :)
ReplyDeleteI wish! on the gardening. I actually hurt myself playing with the dog. O well ;_) Thanks for stopping by, Margaret, and you're right--the muse comes when and where she feels like it. I just wish they'd invent waterproof paper and pens. I had to keep repeating lines in my head the whole time I was laboriously shampooing. :P
